In 1997, the survivors of a nuclear disaster waged a brutal war against the robots and machines they had created. To ultimately kill John Connor, the leader of the human resistance, two "androids" were sent back in time. Their mission: to kill Connor as a child. The first generation of "Terminator" robots failed in 1984. The second generation, made of a mutable fluid, was more advanced and began hunting Connor and his mother, Sarah, in the 1990s. The humans of the future sent a Terminator to protect the young Connor. The robot duel will reach epic proportions. As Connor teaches humanity to the Terminator, his mother attempts to prevent the birth of the first intelligent robots. Together, they will fight to change the future.
